Modern science never has and never will disprove Christianity

A few days before creating this article, I went to church where we could ask some questions to the pastor. One of the questions that was asked was "Is Christianity right even though science has proven it wrong" or something along those lines. The pastor correctly mentioned that science has never proven religion wrong because all scientific theories which disprove Christianity always get denounced as wrong after a while. He mentioned this with the flat earth theory, where, in the bible, it mentions that the earth is round, even though many believed that it was flat at the time.
This got me thinking about the origins of science and how it was originally the study of proving that Christianity was right, or something along those lines. And while it has largely succeeded in bringing to light some core facts on how complex the universe is, etc, some things remain unclear. It baffles me how not a single scientific study has disproven Christianity yet there are still so many who deny it, despite its obvious benefits. Read my other related article, "Atheists are wrong".
