About me and this website
Welcome to Furude Shrine. Who am I? If you know, you know. This is my personal webpage for writing down my thoughts, hosting some files and other things. Although the name kind of implies it, this isn't a Higurashi no Naku Koro ni fanpage, though I will probably write about it from time to time.
Among my interests (not an exhaustive list) are computers and electronics in general (CRTs, for example), GNU/Linux, anime (I sometimes read manga/LN/VN too). Occasionally, I also deal with photography (I'm not a professional by any means). In the future, I'd like to pick up some new skills, such as programming. Higurashi no Naku Koro ni is my favourite work of art ever.
Technical details
This website is hosted on my own server, which is a Librebooted Lenovo ThinkPad T500. The server runs on Debian GNU/Linux, pages are served by nginx. HTTPS is optional, you can connect with HTTP if you want. This website is free of JavaScript, cookies, PHP, etc. One of the design goals was to make the website lightweight and accessible on almost all browsers and devices. It remains fully readable (and in fact still looks decent) even without CSS (you can test this by pressing Alt -> View -> Page Style -> No Style).
