Interesting or useful websites

[4get search engine]

4get: The best proxy/metasearch engine ever made; Very easy to self host.

[Pale Moon browser]

Palemoon, the best browser available for FREE!

[Made with GNU/Linux]

Powered by Linux, specifically Debian/Devuan. Don't waste your time with any other distro because imho, Debian based does everything you need it to and is rock solid. Don't argue about Linux distros and whatnot with me because I don't care :D

[VAIO Library]

The VAIO Library: A site that I co-own and work on with some other people, documenting the coolest computers ever made (Sony VAIO).

[wiby.org search engine]

Wiby: Really nice search engine which you can contribute to by adding pages. Perfect for searching "the old web", as it only shows simpler sites without much JavaScript, modern web technologies, ads, etc. Has a very useful "surprise me" feature which takes you to a random cool website.

[Bluefish editor]

Bluefish: THE old skool IDE.

[Geany IDE]

Geany: Another cool IDE, but less suited to webdev.

[Christ is KING!]

Christianity In View: Informative christian website with an awesome design.

This website has no cookies.

[This site is best viewed with YOUR browser]

Anybrowser.org: This website best viewable with ANY browser (fuck google and their dumb web technologies, my website works on all browsers).

[Free Speech Forever]

Free speech forever, reject Digital ID, surveillance technologies, etc.

[Knaben Torrent Search]

Knaben.eu/.org: Torrent search engine.

[Web 1.0 Hosting]

Web 1.0 Hosting: Host your own website here for FREE. Much better than neocities.

[No Discord]

Shystudios article: Fuck discord.

Vitamin D Wiki: The one and only useful Vitamin D resource online.

[Prosody XMPP Server]

Prosody: Set up your own XMPP server in minutes!

[Ban Porn NOW!!!]

Ban porn, top 3 worst things ever created.

[Stop The New Web]

Banner I made years ago, stop the new web!

Radiooooo: Cool website for discovering new music. Sadly, most features and countries behing a paywall which you can get around using the "Taxi" mode or just clicking slow/fast repeatedly.

Community websites

[lakiweb.net]

Lakiweb: My website :D

[Dig Deeper]

Digdeeper: A website full of useful content ranging from health to why school sucks to which browser he recommends, etc. Absolute gem and a big inspiration for this site.

[Chimaera]

Chimaera: Some interesting writings but mainly a cool VidLii channel with funny videos.

[The Cyberix Network]

Cyberix: "the sophisticated man's playground". Holds somewhat true to its name, as it has some pretty interesting forum threads. However, there are many changes happening to the site all the time and often no good threads get replies. I feel like the site isn't taken seriously since it constantly gets updates that might break something, etc. People don't want to be around something that is constantly changing. I know that the changes the site has made are good (updated design, spam prevention, etc), but really what I learnt making this website in 2023 and not taking it seriously until late 2025 is that you have to finish your site and have good content on it before publishing it.

[Shadow Wiki]

The Shadow Wiki: A wiki for interesting stuff including XMPP clients and mitigation, etc.

NOTE: POLITICS WIKI (ADD THIS WEBSITE HERE)

[Theundercoverman]

The undercoverman: Some interesting thoughts and a nicely designed site, but unfortunately he is very pessimistic.

[ELDRITCHDATA]

ELDRITCHDATA: VERY interesting writings, survival guides, and so on. Requires JavaScript to be disabled (awesome)

[sizeof(cat)]

Sizeof(cat): Recently took his site down, but it was cool whilst it lasted.

Furude Shrine: An interesting website by a friend of mine. Relatively new at time of writing. Has a nice simple design and interesting content.

YouTube channels

swilliamism: a very cool YouTube channel from a guy who explores London and analyses its various freemasonic architectures, facial recognition, etc. Editing is superb (simple), and he makes his own music which is played in his videos.

ByzantineBro: very useful Christian tutorials, on topics such as fasting, prayer, and more. His own description:

This channel explores Eastern Catholic theology, the teachings of Jesus Christ, traditional Christian art, and orthodox iconography.

His channel has some absolute GEM thumbnails such as this one:

I would say he is part of the younger Christian youtubers also including Redeemed Zoomer, etc. I found his videos on fasting and prayer very useful but also engaging and not boring.

I had no idea what button to put here so I just added one I made in ImageMagick.

Miscellaneous

88x31 button maker I made.
